Hexagon Sky is a sample-based plugin instrument inspired by the sound of Boards Of Canada, Com Truise, Lone and Tycho. The instrument includes 109 preset sounds to choose from including genuine analog synthesizers tones, acoustic instruments sampled from public domain documentaries (for that grainy sounds) plus various pads, strings and ethereal atmospheres. Also included are sampled guitar, bell and electric piano sounds.

In order to get a more lo-fi sound, the plugin has a set of vinyl, cassette, VHS and tape hum background noises that can be routed to its own individual output. Two field recording oscillators feature various sound atmosphere from kids in a schoolyard to wolves howling in the night. These field recordings sound layers can also be routed to their own individual output. Depending on which sound you choose, the field recordings will change between a set of 9 ambient sounds.
